Ladgroup Limited is a family owned business originally incorporated as Ladgroup Sprayers Limited on 23 January 1971 but changed the changed its name to Ladgroup Limited on 11 March 1972. The Head Office of the company is currently located at Abimbola House, 24 Abimbola Street, Isolo Industrial Estate, Lagos.

• Ladgroup wins “Best Exporter of the Year” and “Best Cocoa Exporter” awarded by Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM).
• Ladgroup initiated the construction of an oil mill extraction factory with the flexibility to crush shea nuts, palm kernel, groundnut and soya beans
• Ladgroup commissions a 27,000MT/annum oil mill extraction factory and initiates the installation of an edible oil refinery with a 21,000MT/annum capacity
• Ladgroup receives investment from FAFIN to strengthen the Company’s capacity to bridge the processing gap of shea nuts in Nigeria.

Large Scale & Cost-Efficient Operations: We ensure that we remain the largest shea butter factory in West Africa by consistently expanding our scale of operations. We ensure large scale, cost efficient operations and optimum capacity utilization using modern and up to date technology to attain the desired economies of scale, producing goods that are competitive. We also consistently increase our product portfolio. And the factory attracts several positive multiplier effects, including enhanced income for farmers, over 140 direct jobs had been created at the factory and over 100,000 jobs would be created indirectly through the supply chain by sourcing nuts across Nigeria.

Strong Management & Partnerships: We have put in place a strong management team with decades of experience running oilseed plants as well as an experienced local and expatriate technical management team backed by a Technical Agreement that would drive profitability. Ladgroup also has powerful partnerships and cooperation with well-established off-takers & project partners with international experience and advanced processing technology.

Consistent Increase in Market Share: We defend and increase our market share in West Africa and continue to remain the number one processor of shea nuts in Nigeria. By the end of the fifth year our market share in West Africa for shea butter export would be 20%. We continually offer products of the highest quality that matches international standards at competitive and guaranteed prices and ensure on-time supply of existing contract for 100% product off-take with key global buyers.

Unmatched Supply Chain Efficiencies: Nigeria’s position as the largest producer of shea nuts increases our raw material supply potential vis-a vis other West African processors. We have developed an efficient logistics and supply chain management for independent supply of raw materials, marketing and exportation of products. Our supply chain ensures lower cost and consistent Shea nut supplies.

Ladgroup has invested in a facility to process Sheanuts to Shea Butter and De-oiled Sheanut cake. This facility consists of expeller presses and a Solvent Extraction Plant which can process 150 metric tons per day of raw material. The plant is flexible to process other oil seeds such as soya beans, palm kernel and groundnuts.
